Phew!!

You would think that madly booking flights and spending money for Stepping Up would be a breeze wouldn’t you?  But I have to admit that it is freaking me out a little!  See the sensible thing to do is to book everything way in advance to get the best prices.  But this close to Christmas and after I just finished my paid admin work…well even though I know I will be reimbursed I am feeling the pressure with each purchase.

Money as a general rule terrifies me – not having had enough in the past makes me pretty determined to have enough for the future.  And when I was growing up being an artist was not seen as a particularly sensible career choice in terms of income – keep your art for a hobby I was advised many a time.  Well I am certainly not following that advice any more and I am seriously hoping I don’t have to follow it again.  But that doesn’t mean I won’t get the wobbles from time to time…and right now is one of those times!  So I am off to have a cup of tea and relax a little by reminding myself that incredibly I will be reimbursed and that support will help make some of my dreams come true. How amazing!
